Retail Merchandiser

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team. As Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for driving sales, providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services in the Leinster area. 

Key duties include:
  • Analyse sales figures, market trends and customer feedback to anticipate product needs and plan product launches/stock management 
  • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate prices, quantities, and timescales
  • Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
  • Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory
  • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes etc
  • Build constructive customer relationships and team with Sales Reps to close deals
  • Remain up to date with market trends & feedback to brand teams 
  • Provide brand training as required

Career experience and qualifications 
  • Proven working experience in merchandising
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening, presentation, and decision-making skills
  • Up to date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
  • Commercial acumen 
  • BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or 2+ years’ experience in similar role
  • Full, clean drivers’ licence
